The one month catechism summer course at St. Louis Mary de Montfort Church ended last Monday, April 23rd. The pastor of the church Fr. Joseph Prasarn organizes this course every summer to educate Catholic Thai children about the rites and teachings of the Catholic Church and the Bible. Today , qualified children enrolled in this course will be receiving their First Holy Communion. The pastor scheduled this event today the 28th to coincide with  the feast day of St. Louis Mary de Montfort, the patron saint of this church.

Let us pray that the children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion today will grow up to be Catholics with love and fear of God.

Let us pray that the parents of all Catholic Thai children , especially  the children enrolled in this course will do their part to continually educate their children in the faith.

Let us pray for all the religious people who are educating the young Catholics of Thailand, that God bless them  and  give them physical and spiritual strength and resources to continue with their mission.

Let us pray for the pastor of this church, Fr. Joseph Prasarn for his dedication in serving the parishioners of this church especially the children.

God Bless all the children, their parents and families, the catechists and everyone involved in this program.
