JM has a special fondness for teddy bears. As a newborn he had his first teddy bear which I named Brownie. After nine years , he still keeps Brownie , he takes him to bed at night, carries him around on short and long trips. Aside from Brownie , he has other teddy bears too….. Mommy bear ,Papa bear, Heart bear, Choco, Red and Birthday bear. He would arrange all his bears on the headboard before sleeping and prays  to God to keep them all safe at night after his recitation of the Holy Rosary.

It looks funny how the icon of Madonna and Child ended up arranged in the dresser alongside with his graduation bear and First Holy Communion photo. According to him, he intentionally put the icon there because Mother Mary will keep all his teddy bears safe and that the Child Jesus can play his bears with him. 

He will play with my teddy bears, will  He mom ? JM asked. Surely He will.
