Today the 21st is the birth anniversary of my aunt Adalia. If she was alive, she’d be 88 years today. Please offer a short prayer for the eternal repose of her soul.
Grant eternal rest O Lord to the soul of Adalia , and let your perpertual light shine upon her. May the souls of all faithful departed rest in the love and peace of God. Amen.

We spent the 1st day of this year touring places out of the city and took photographs of beautiful and unique landscapes and an Asian style of welcoming the new year. We enjoyed the change surroundings and had fun having lunch at a traditional restaurant made of bamboo and coconut leaves.

Asian style of welcoming the new year.

We passed by this immaculate white salt farm and watched how salt crystals are produced.

A quiet harbour on new years day.

A traditional Asian garden with a pool surrounded by Bonsai plants.

A Thai style house amidst the greens.

Beautiful !

Bonsai plant animal carvings.

I’ve been away from the blogosphere for some period of time due to work and domestic chores. On the last day of 2007, we had a chance to move around the city and spend the day at the park.

Year end at the park, enjoying the warm sun, cool air and watching pigeons.

JM happily chasing pigeons.

Chatting with dad at the end of the day’s trip at the park.

I am the New Year.
I am an unspoiled page in your book of time.
I am your next chance at the art of living.
I am your opportunity
to practice what you have learned during
the last twelve months about life. All that you sought the past year
and failed to find is hidden in me;
I am waiting for you to search it out
again and with more determination.
All the good that you tried to do
for others and didn’t achieve last year
is mine to grant– providing you have
fewer selfish and conflicting desires.
In me lies the potential
of all that you dreamed but didn’t
dare to do, all that you hoped
but did not perform.
All you prayed for
but did not yet experience -
these dreams slumber lightly,
waiting to be awakened by the touch
of an enduring purpose -
I am your opportunity
to renew your allegiance to Him who said,
“behold, I make all things new.”
I am the new year.

“Behold, I make all things new.”
