There’s a feeling of nip in the air. Shorter days, longer nights, cold and foggy mornings. Rainless , drier and colder days ahead. The yellowing and  falling of leaves from tropical trees less resistant to cold weather. Signs that Christmas is just around the corner.

After last nights downpour , we had a really beautiful day today. Blue skies , hot (not warm) and very calm weather gave us a break from the gloomy and damp weather we”ve been experiencing for the past several months.

Blue skies with traces of white clouds . . . .  a sign of another heavy downpour tonight ?

Those dark heavy clouds is sure sign of another gloomy and rainy day today .

Everything around me is green and fresh because of the rain. Too much rain that is.  Flooding is everywhere, resulting in damage to homes, crops and of course here in the city, stranded vehicles. At home, heavy rains reminded us of leaking roof that needs to be repaired and clogged drainage that needs to cleaned.

On the positive side, weather is much cooler and comfortable and more importantly, our water supply in the dams have been replenished after a long, dry summer.

He shall be like rain coming down on the meadow, like showers watering the earth.

It’s been raining again today. JM enjoys the last few remaining days of his summer school break by playing computer games. A good way to have fun these wet and rainy days.
